Humid circumstances were expected to linger along large portions of eastern Queensland this coming days as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the coast.

Tomorrow was predicted as the heaviest precipitation period, with continued severe weather risk predicted across different parts of both states.

Public health experts cautioned that there was an higher risk of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the northern rural areas, specifically given the current weather patterns.
